CNEP or National Center of Studies and Projects - was founded in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2001 by a group of professionals with a vast experience developingprojects of social development at non-profit organizations.

Our main goal is to elaborate, administrate and evaluate projects to promote social awareness and help the development of human knowledge.

CNEP coordinates various partnerships with private, public and international institutions, as well as with leaders of local communities and other non-profit organizations in order to strengthen the impact of its work.

We develop different projects in the following areas:

Education	Culture	Health	Environment

Our aim is to increase the awareness of Human Rights and Sustainable Human Development.

We focus our Technical Cooperation on:

1. Stimulating and encouraging entrepreneurship amongst empoverished communities

2. Social development of local communities.

3. Profissionalization of non-profit institutions.

Team

We are a multi-skilled team capable of creating and administrating projects as well as evaluating their results and social impact. We do also support other organizations in the areas of investigation, fund raising, cultural exchange and partnerships.

Achievments in 2002

Social Development Program - which joined non-profit organizations from different States from Brazil.
I Jurídico Simpossium for non-profit organizations - supported by OAB/RJ, EMATRA, FESP e Government from the State of Rio de Janeiro.
Urban Planning Project for Morro dos Prazeres Community in Santa Tereza neighborhood- RJ in association with NHTV - International University for Professional Education, Breda, Hollanda.
